Los Angeles Weezer’s 32 city arena tour, The Gathering will be at the Crypto.com Arena on Saturday, October 24th, 2026. The concert will feature Weezer live plus two more great bands for an epic triple bill of music.
Weezer recently unleashed their brand new single “Shine Again” from their upcoming 20th studio album, will headline this extraordinary night of hard-hitting rock with a 3 time Grammy nominated, Grammy winning performance of hits like “Buddy Holly,” “Island in the Sun,” and “Beverly Hills” off the 17+ million records sold worldwide of the band’s power pop catalog.
The Shins are joining the tour to perform their iconic indie rock songs and we can expect a wide array of songs performed live from the band. Fans can expect to hear the band’s biggest hit “New Slang” as well as other hits such as “Phantom Limb” and many more. Los Angeles-based alternative rock band Silversun Pickups will be kicking off the show with a performance of songs off of their 2026 released album Tenterhits, as well as a wide array of fan favorites such as “Lazy Eye” and “Panic Switch”.

Weezer’s 32-city North American arena tour ‘The Gathering’ visits San Francisco, Las Vegas Philadelphia and Seattle and thirty other top cities across the country. The only LA show on the tour will take place at Crypto.com Arena.
Weezer is an iconic quartet consisting of Rivers Cuomo, Patrick Wilson, Brian Bell, and Scott Shriner. Formed in Los Angeles in 1992, Weezer has been incredibly successful in the music industry. The band has sold over 17 million units in the United States alone. At The Gathering, fans can expect to hear many of the band’s hit songs including “Buddy Holly,” “Undone (The Sweater Song),” “Say It Ain’t So,” “Island in the Sun,” “Beverlyes,” “Pork and Beans,” and many more. The band is currently working on their 20th studio album and recently released the single “Shine Again.”
Weezer is known for their iconic colored albums such as Blue, Green, and many more. The band has a lovable geek rock image which draws in fans of all ages. Weezer won a Grammy for Best Short Form Music Video for “Pork and Beans” in 2009. The band was also nominated for several other Grammy Awards including Best Rock Album.
The heart of this indie rock quartet is front man and founder James Mercer and his various side projects, including Broken Bells. In addition to touring as The Shins in support of their two latest albums, 2017’s Heartworms and 2018’s The Worm’s Heart, Mercer has toured in the past as half of the indie super group Broken Bells, as well as recently receiving widespread critical acclaim for his third collaboration with Paramore’s former guitarist Josh Farro under the name No Capes No Cowls.
Silversun Pickups are an LA based alternative/ indie rock band known for playing a wide variety of sounds within the genre. The band will create an experience that is to be immersed in, including their surreal and often eerie feeling that is expressed in their music and live performances. Known for their complex hard-hitting sound that features intricate shoegaze- like guitar riffs and song structures, they often incorporate lush and indulgent textures to complete the sounds that the band brings to the table. Some of their most popular songs include “Lazy Eye”, “Panic Switch”, and “Well Thought Out Twinkles”.
Crypto.com Arena is a 950,000 square foot facility in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, CA 90015.
